CARP FISHERY RULES
- Maximum of 3 rods to be used (please make sure you have 2 ea rod licenses).
- All gates to be closed at all times and all cars must be parked in designated areas, the surrounding farmland is strictly out of bounds.
- No litter of any description to be left anywhere on the lake (please take it home) Please do not leave your litter in our bins.
- No nuts of any description.
- Barbless or micro hooks only.
- All members to carry medi carp and large unhooking mat and a minimum of 36in landing net to be used.
- No permanently fixed leads or bolt rigs and all leads must be able to break free should a fish become snagged, no lead core leaders are to be used under any circumstances.
- All fish to be returned immediately. No keep nets or sacks to be used at anytime.
- No dogs, loud radio, fires, guns, swimming, drugs, or heavy drinking.
- Bait boats can be used but (please consider all other anglers).
- All landing nets and unhooking mats to be bone dry before use.
- All gates to be kept locked at all times.
- No live baits.
- Membership fees are payable before 25th March each year. Members who fail to pay their subscriptions by the due date will lose their membership place as a waiting list is in operation and numbers are strictly limited.
- Night fishing is allowed 7 nights a week but no more than a 48-hour session can be done at any one time.
- No fishing tackle or equipment of any kind shall be left unattended in a swim for more than 3 hours in a 24-hour period.
- Persons fishing at the carp Fisheries do so at their own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any accident and/or injury to anglers or their possessions, however caused, whilst on the premises. It is the angler's responsibility to ensure they are protected and are aware of the dangers of fishing before entering the fisheries.
- Guest tickets are available but limited these must be booked 24 hours prior to fishing, at a cost of twenty pounds for twenty-four hours. All guests must fish adjacent swims and be accompanied both on and off the premises. In the occasional event of a non-fishing guest visit it is imperative that they also be escorted on and off the premises. ALL MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR GUESTS!
- The highest possible standard of behavior will be expected from all, these are common sense rules please abide by them, anyone breaking the rules faces expulsion fees will not be refunded.
